This year's summer camps will once again feature an international coaching staff: Olympians Valerie Gotay and Israel Hernandez, and Gerald Lafon. Dates are: June 27-July 1 and August 1-5.

Natalie Lafon was crowned national champion at 52kg in Orlando, Florida, and will represent the U.S. at the 2011 World Judo Championships on August 24 in Paris, France.

| Our first club tournament using the new scoring system we have adopted was a great success. The new rules afford our players more time in a match and thus more competitive experience. We will hold four tournaments this year.
